Most recognize using rigging, cranes, davits, forklifts and other equipment to support “Dropping the Heads” on condensers and evaporators is potentially hazardous. However, in order to operate properly and efficiently, pumps, condensers and heat exchanger tubes must be maintained and cleaned at least once a year and in some instances more often.
Our Bolt-On Hinge™ eliminates the need to attach the access cover to a swinging chain, strap or any other device. “THE HEAD” IS ALWAYS FULLY SUPPORTED BY THE BOLT-ON HINGE™. It is installed while the access cover is fixed to its mating flange. Only then are all the cover studs or bolts completely removed, freeing the cover to open and close just as you would a door.
